MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT LOVE💞💕

There have been different concepts and notions about love in our society as a result of the instilled knowledge we have gotten overtime based on our associations and the environment we find ourselves. And this has posited a lot of several controversies in our society especially amongst young minds who were not well informed earlier on the actual or true meaning of love.

Basically in our society, love has been termed as an "emotional sentiment" spurred as a result of an attraction towards a person . This notion about love is very skeptical and critical because it's foundation is based on feelings or emotional attachments that most at times expects in return a level of affection and attention from the object of attraction,of which in most cases don't play out as expected and therefore causes a lot of emotional damage and clashes.

Also,love as a concept has been abused and describe as a term that can only be expressed through sexual arousement that breeds out from an individual who lacks self control and tends to showcase a lustful passion towards his or her object of desire by involving in pre-marital sex and other disputable sexual activities. Most at times,this sexual urge is termed as "LOVE" but in most cases it fades away and eventually causes pain and regret for both parties because it wasn't "true love" but a misconception.

Unfortunately,the society approach about the concept of love has been lopsided as a result of our humanistic nature . Basically,it is commonly accepted that love must be conditional in nature,whereby we must get a certain level of affection in return to those who we tend to show love..

It could be considered to have an atom of truth in it but critically we should understand that love based on conditions always end up with hurts and distrust. Love shouldn't be grounded on the platform of "conditions" but on the basis of selflessness, commitment and sincerity.Biblically,Jesus was a perfect example of TRUE LOVE,he chose to love us even when we didn't care,he was still patient with us in love and even if when we neglect his love,his arms are always open to receive us.In orders words even when we outrightly rejects his love it doesn't stop him from loving us..This should be our approach to love as it concerns those who tends not to appreciate our show of affection neither replicate it.We should learn to love people despite their flaws without expecting much in return because some cases it doesn't happen because not everyone has understood the true concept of love.

Based on this misconceptions, we discover that it has been difficult for humans in our society to freely express "sincere and pure love"

What then is the true concept of love? 

Love is pure

Love is beautiful

Love is Kind

Love is about giving

Looking critically at these concepts, it indicates that true love is about expressing sincere affection,care,kindness and attention towards our spouses, family, friends and even our enemies. It is the purest form of connection between two or more persons,with the intention of impacting lives positively. It is not based on fleshly desires,lust or uncontrollable passion that eventually ends up in hurts, regrets and damage because it's centred on emotional sentiments or attachments

Love should be our blueprint in every relationship we find ourselves,we should seek to meet the needs and be a source of hope,inspiration and a blessing to people. It's beyond what we will gain out from it,it's about showing genuine passion for our spouses,family,friends and even enemies. 

WE ALL NEED LOVE....

A LOVE THAT IS PURE,SINCERE AND REAL.
